A Brief Introduction
Established in March 2012, UBTECH ROBOTICS CORP LTD is a leading humanoid robots and smart service robots company. On 29 December, 2023, we were listed on the main board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (stock code: 9880.HK).
Dedicated to the mission of 'bringing intelligent robots into every family, and making everyday life more convenient and intelligent', we have developed a full stack of humanoid robotic technologies independently. Building on our full-stack technologies, UBTECH has engaged in the research and development, design, smart production, and commercialization of Embodied AI humanoid robots in industrial, commercial, and household scenarios.
UBTECH is among the few global leaders in full-stack humanoid robot technologies. Based on our self-developed hardware and software, UBTECH establishes four technology clusters, including Embodied AI Brain, Humanoid Cerebellum, High-Performance Hardware, and Swarm Intelligence. We aim to open our core technologies to the industry, link UBTECH with developers, industry chain, and partners, and gradually develop UBTECH into an ecosystem platform in Embodied AI era.
In terms of Embodied AI Brain, UBTECH has established a system with self-developed models, including foundation large model Thinker, world model Thinker-WM, and action model Thinker-VLA. Thinker-VLA model integrates visual perception, language understanding, and action generation capabilities. Meanwhile, the world model Thinker-WM enhances the robot's ability to predict and reason about future states by learning physical state transitions, object interactions, and action outcomes, thereby empowering humanoid robots with embodied AI capabilities centered on understanding, predicting, and acting upon the world.
UBTECH has constructed an industry-leading data center powered by its self-developed data infrastructure technology. Its real-robot dataset currently comprises approximately 11 million entries, over 80% of which consist of highly sought-after industrial scene data, laying a solid foundation for robot model training, skill optimization, and large-scale deployment. We have developed our own embodied simulation platform, continuously refining its end-to-end capabilities across scene reconstruction, asset generation, data synthesis, simulation evaluation, and platform architecture.
In terms of Humanoid Cerebellum and High-Performance Hardware, UBTECH advances key technologies including whole-body motion control, reinforcement learning, dexterous manipulation, vision-only end-to-end navigation, high-performance servo actuators, and human-like binocular visual perception. By translating the intelligent decisions of the embodied brain into stable and precise actions in the physical world, we complete the closed-loop Embodied AI pipeline:, which consist of perception, understanding, prediction, decision-making, control, execution, and feedback.
In terms of Swarm Intelligence, UBTECH integrates the iterative BrainNet 2.0 and our proprietary Co-Agent technology, the first agent for industrial humanoid robots in the world, to bring humanoid robots swarm intelligence, achieving task decomposition, intelligent scheduling, information sharing, and collaborative operation across multiple humanoid robots, and constructing an AI dual-loop evolution system for embodied intelligent humanoid robots tailored to industrial scenarios.
UBTECH has introduced ROSA 2.0 and the Robot Management Cloud Platform, bringing a full-chain supportive platform for the development of the algorithms for humanoid robots in terms of motion control, decision making, and interaction, etc.
As of June 2026, UBTECH held 3,112 granted patents, among which 1857 are invention patents and 530 are from overseas, ranking first globally in valid humanoid robot patents. We also led the draft of 53 industrial standards in smart robots and AI, including 6 national standards for humanoid robots.
According to financial statements publicly disclosed by peer companies, UBTECH ranks 1st in total revenue, total sales volume of humanoid robots, revenue and sales volume from full-sized Embodied AI humanoid robots (non-remote-controlled and non-toy, with onboard computing power >200 TOPS, height >160 cm), and non-full-size & non-Embodied-Al humanoid robots (remote-controlled, pre-programmed, height<160 cm).

2025
We conducted the first collaborative practical training program for humanoid robots in the world, where multiple humanoid robots collaborated across multi-task, multi-scenario industrial environments.
We launched Walker S2, our latest generation of industrial humanoid robots.
Three units of Walker S2, representing Guangdong Province, Hong Kong, and Macau, struck eight bronze chime bells at the opening ceremony of the 15th National Games of China.
We began the mass production and delivery of Walker S2.

Our Alpha2 Robot and Jimu Robot were awarded the Innovation Awards in the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

2016
540 units of our Alpha Robots performed simultaneously at China Central Television' s Spring Festival Gala ('Spring Festival Gala'), one of the most watched national network television broadcasts in the world, and the performance was registered as a Guinness World Record in 2016.

Our Alpha Robot was exhibited in the China Hi-Tech Fair.
We organized the 17th National Robotics Championship and the 6th International Humanoid Robotics Olympiad.

2014
We successfully developed and produced our first small sized humanoid robot, Alpha Robot.
