The Christina School District has officially become the first school district in the country to launch our cutting-edge disinfection system in the fight against COVID-19 spread across district schools. The district held a kick off event where school officials ushered in the program with the goal of providing an additional layer of safety to students, parents, and staff. “We can now clean and sterilize immediately after a confirmed COVID-19 case using the most advanced technology available, allowing our students and staff to safely return to class without fear or hesitation,” said Dr. Dan Shelton, Superintendent of Schools, in attendance of the ADIBOT kick off event. Our highly effective disinfection system utilizes hospital grade germicidal UV-C technology that quickly and efficiently disinfects the air and surfaces from harmful pathogens, including COVID-19, MRSA, and influenza. This is done without the use of harsh chemicals like used in electrostatic spraying and with minimal staff interaction, therefore decreasing staff exposure to virus hotspots.
